Property Economist at Karlskronahem

Do you want to work in a role where your commitment and analytical skills contribute to both business acumen and social benefit? Do you thrive on responsibility, variety, and the opportunity to influence important economic processes in a company that makes a real difference in people's everyday lives? Then you could be the property economist we are looking for at Karlskronahem.

About the Position

As a property economist, you will be a central part of our finance function and work both operationally and analytically with rent administration, accounting, and system maintenance, primarily in Vitec.

In this role, you will be responsible for registering local contracts and managing rent changes for residential properties, commercial spaces, and other objects. You will ensure correct rents and fees, complement rental objects with, for example, standard improvements, and maintain high data quality through careful record management. You will also be responsible for rent notifications and managing the direct debit process.

Your work will also encompass important accounting aspects, such as developing differentiated VAT rates for each property, assessing anticipated and confirmed receivables, and reconciling rent-related accounts.

A significant part of the role involves producing statistics, key figures, and materials for the organization’s decisions and procurements. You will have the opportunity to develop work processes and contribute to strengthening economic structures and routines within the company.

About You

You have a university degree in economics or equivalent experience and competence, as well as a strong analytical ability. You work result-oriented, are meticulous, and have an easy time seeing both details and the big picture.

You thrive in an independent role where you take initiative and drive the work forward, but you also enjoy collaborating with colleagues in the organization. You communicate clearly and confidently, even when presenting financial material to others.

You are curious, development-oriented, and eager to contribute new ideas that improve our work methods and financial flows. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
